Holidays are fun, exciting, exhilarating, relaxing, thoroughly enjoyable but often terribly expensive. If your next trip away needs to have some strong restraints where budgets are concerned then there are plenty of ways to stretch your money out.

If you are looking to enjoy the delights of one of Europe’s cities which are cultural havens, then you may want to pre-plan your touring. Try and identify which monuments and landmarks (that are worth visiting) don’t actually come with a cost or entry fee. You will find most of London’s famed attractions are available for the public to enjoy visiting and to take pictures without and cost.

Your flights and accommodation is another area where you can trim some excess holiday expenditure. Competitive airlines mean that flights within Europe tend to be fairly priced whoever you fly with, but it doesn’t hurt to shop around. One area where you can save a bundle is accommodation, many people overlook the useful option of London hostels where you can get rooms for terrific value compared to inner city hotels.

Aside from not coughing up for an expensive restaurant or saving money on taking gifts home searching for budget accommodation in London has to be the best way to lower expenditure. With hostels you can always expect a good night sleep and friendly hospitality every time you stay. There seems to be a miss guided stigma attached to hostels, once you go an experience it you will say bye, bye to high hotel rates!

Last minute holidays sound really exciting and adventurous, but can turn into a nightmare if not planned carefully. If you have ever set off on a holiday at the last minute, you know what we are talking about. A little bit of knowledge in how to effectively plan such last minute holidays may play a big role in making your vacation a wholesome and a memorable one.

Last minute holidays are usually associated with single people as they can take a break from stressful day to day lives and can leave anytime without many strings attached. Working couples might face difficulty to leave from office or parents with children might not find a place for the kids to stay while they are travelling.

One more thing about last minute holidays is that if not planned thoroughly they can burn a big hole in your pocket. Last minute hotel reservations and sightseeing tour packages are mighty expensive and the best way of selecting the one you can afford is to undertake a little online research. Don’t even have time for that? Well, this can be done even on the move, from the airport with your tablet or smart phone. Gather numbers of the hotels and tour providers and ring them up. They will indicate whether they have
vacancy or not and would also indicate prices for their services. Bargaining in such situations to land you the best deal is also highly recommended.

Having a little local knowledge of the place you are travelling to is also valuable. If travelling to a place where the local language is unfamiliar to you, make sure to carry a translation book of common words from your language to the other language. This will help in communication with the locals, which you would have to deal with quite often. One more thing for you to do on such a vacation is to find other people on such similar last minute holidays. Discussing with people similar situations you can get a fair idea of what are the good places in the area to see and even get information and contact details of cheaper and better hotels and tour packages.

Such unplanned holidays might sound a bit scary for the unadventurous people who want everything well-thought-out and are always afraid to take risk in life. For the risk-taking individuals and groups, Last minute holidays carried out with proper planning can turn out to be an everlasting happy memory.

The Spanish hotels experienced rising 9.7% last yearAccording to the balance that has been published trivago.es to celebrate this week FITUR 2012. Despite this remarkable growth in prices, Spain remains one of the European Union countries over economic, even below countries such as Croatia, Slovenia and Cyprus. Thus, the average price per room is at 97.91 euros last year, compared to 89.25 euros in 2010.

The most expensive country in Europe is Switzerland to € 215.75 on average, followed by the Scandinavian countries Norway (165 €), Sweden (154.67 euros) and Denmark (€ 142.50) and Russia (157.83 euros) which is the third most expensive already. Later, we would find in France (€ 148.08), United Kingdom (147.92 euros) and the Netherlands (€ 141.50), Ukraine (€ 132.23) and Italy (€ 130.17).

Thus, with these data, Spain still maintains a very cheap price, only surpassed by Serbia (€ 90.58), Portugal (€ 89.17), Malta (€ 81.17), Poland (€ 75.25), Romania (€ 71.58) and Bulgaria (68 €). Nor is this growth has been no obstacle to the sector has been a great year.

By region, Catalonia (€ 117.33) and Balearics (€ 105.33) are the most expensive and the ones that are over 100 euros on average. Would be located just below Madrid (€ 99.17), Basque Country (€ 91.92) and the Canary Islands (€ 90.67). On the opposite side lie Aragon (€ 70.25) and Galicia (€ 73.85) as the most economical.

These rates vary naturally in certain festivities. Some examples are Navarre, who became one of the most expensive (124 €) during the celebration of the world famous San Fermin, Andalusia during the months of April and May (101 €), periods in which they celebrate Easter and Fair in April, and La Rioja during the harvest in September (101 €).

August is the fastest growing month prices in most communities, coinciding with the holiday period of most Spanish. In fact, in the Balearic Islands the price goes up to € 151, in Cantabria is situated in Asturias and the 140 €, 103 €.

The capital city of Argentina is one of the largest cities in Latin America, with a large variety of activities and attractions to entertain all types of tourist. As with all major cities, Buenos Aires offers a huge number of cultural events, numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs and no matter what you look for in a holiday, this fascinating city will not disappoint. And in terms of accommodation, Buenos Aires apartments are some of the finest.

Top of my list of things to do, although I understand it may not be everyone’s favourite activity, would be to take in a local football match. For a hair-raising and exhilarating evening, tickets to an Argentinean league match are a must. 90 minutes in the stands of Boca have become notorious, and for a football fan it is truly an unforgettable experience.

For those looking for a little more culture may prefer a chance to tango the night away, the national dance of Argentina. There are a number of places to and watch the professional’s light up the dance floor, many of which also offer the opportunity for beginners to learn the basics a take a taste of Latin America home with them.

Apartments in Puerto Madero are ideally located for visitors to explore the modern side of the city, with slightly more upmarket bars and restaurants (without being overly expensive). You are also nicely situated to take advantage of Buenos Aires’ extensive public transport network and set off to explore great sights and activities such as:

· El Tigre – Beautiful subtropical oasis with stunning waterways, ideal for picnics.

· San Telmo street fair and flea market.

· Attend a Gaucho Party – experience firsthand the real culture of Argentina and live the life of a cowboy.

The list could go on and on, but the best thing I can recommend is to visit the stunning and intriguing city of Buenos Aires and experience it all for yourself.

Whether you are planning a stay at a Bed&Breakfast in Istanbul, travelling through Europe while staying in private apartments or backpacking across Asia, there are a few basic things you can do to cover yourself in the event of your bags being lost, your wallet being stolen or your travel documents going missing. With luck you will not need to use these tips, but it is always preferable to be prepared for the worst possible outcome.

Before you leave on your trip, it is advisable to digitally scan your passport and tickets and store them in a web-based email account. Then, if you should misplace, lose or have them stolen, you still have access to your important information and can send the scans of your passport to the embassy or consulate in the country you are in, if you need to apply for a new one.

It is also recommended that you keep your emergency contact details in a web-based email account. These contact details should always include telephone numbers for your bank or building society’s lost card helpline, so in the event that your purse or wallet is stolen, you can easily contact them and cancel your cards. It is also worth considering keeping each debit or credit card and any cash you are carrying separate from each other, so if you do lose one, you still have the rest on you.

If you are travelling with friends or family, split your clothing between each person’s bag. If you arrive at your destination and one of your bags does not turn up, you will still have at least one change of clothes available to you. Airlines do not tend to compensate travellers for lost luggage for 48 hours after arrival, so this could save you time and money if it happens to you.

Budapest is one of the capitals European receives more tourists per year, to claim their undeniable beauty and many attractions it presents. In fact, it is also known as “The Pearl of the Danube”River, which separates the two cities that are: Buddha and Pest. Although I really should talk of a third city, Obuda, Which is the oldest (I century BC). Along the river bridges linking different happen on both sides and near the actual area and most elegant of Buddha Pest, which is the commercial and economic center.

The Hungarian capital has a rich history and culture, as evidenced by the large number of monuments and places that have to visit. Here are some of their main attractions:

- Chain Bridge

One of the most famous images of Budapest. This is the bridge oldest in the city and the most beautiful and known around the Danube. Also striking because instead of cables, used for construction chain links. Moreover, it is guarded by four lions. Jamaica is an island formed of many cultures from many parts of the world, and as such, it combines many of the best elements of those cultures all into one. Music, dancing, food, people, and lifestyles in Jamaica have their own particular flavor and rhythm, and if you are ready for adventure and excitement, then Jamaica is certainly the place to go.
Jamaica is best enjoyed from the comfort of one of its many elegant beach villas, as anyone will tell you. There’s nothing as enjoyable as a long day out on the beach, hitting the water, wrapped up with a relaxing time of rest and repose in a beautiful room in a villa. Jamaica has many villas, and no matter what kind of group you plan to bring, or if you plan to go alone, they’ll have something for you.

Beach Activities

As tourism is one of Jamaica’s biggest businesses, many beach areas are all about giving visitors a good time. For one thing, the beaches themselves are spectacularly gorgeous, enough in themselves to draw anyone from miles around. The clear waters and clean sands are just the starting point of the benefits of staying in Jamaica villas. There are many other things to do besides just sitting around to absorb the sun.

The Jamaica shoreline, particularly the areas most inhabited, offers all sorts of water activities. Skiing and sailing are just two of the many. For those who like fishing, it’s easy to get on a trip and strike out for some deep sea fish. Scuba diving and snorkeling aren’t as enjoyable anywhere else in the world as in Jamaica.

Other Activities

Jamaica is a very large island, so there are many mainland activities besides the ones done in the ocean near the Jamaica villas. Jamaica is also well known for its rugged yet lush mountains and hills, full of wildlife and flora not to be found in most places around the world. Hikers and trekkers can spend days enjoying the natural beauty of the island.
Besides those, there are also tours of significant areas of the island, many land sports like tennis, golf, and cricket. For those who like rafting, they can catch a ride on the white water rivers. There’s a great deal to see and do on Jamaica, almost all within a few miles of one of the pleasant, picturesque beach villas.
