Many times I’ve thinking about returning to a destination in particular, a place I visited, I was fascinated and I did not like, a place I did not pay enough attention or that has evolved rapidly. Perhaps a destination I visited years ago today or one whose memories are blurred. Reasons to revisit one of the destinations to which we traveled, there are many.
I was thinking to go for my next vacation, wondering Should I return to Rome , where I spent only a few days? Or maybe Berlin, City did not love but of which many speak wonders? And just came across a selection of the best reasons to revisit a destinationGadling . I’ve made a selection and have added the ideas that I find most interesting.
1. For a love thee
When traveling in a special way we connect with the places we visited, almost as if we fall in love. In my case it is Paris, a city that feels like my own home. I will never tire of coming back and back.
2. For a place you did not like
Why go back if you like it? Many times the reasons why a place we liked are not related or dependent on circumstances outside ourselves.
A year ago I spent some days in Berlin, was extremely cold and I was in sneakers walking on ice 20 cm. After walking and walking I decided I better back in the summer if he wanted to give him another chance to this destination.
3. To visit friends
This is the best excuse to go back to a place! Traveled with couchsurfing local knowledge and always end up making many friends. If I can not convince them then come and visit, at least I will be happy to receive me.
4. To see how this place has changed
After a few years is interesting to return to a destination we’ve visited. Surely we are with many changes that give an air back to the place. Personally I find it interesting, whether a destination has changed or not, the experience is different because it depends heavily on the people we meet, the weather, the events there (why not visit a popular destination for a festival?).
5. To see something that you have not seen
Whenever I travel consciously decided not to do “everything” that the destination has to offer. This is an excellent excuse to then go back.
